More about Feeder tips
Feeder tips, also called quivertips, are the sensitive ends of a feeder rod and make bites visible. They are available in different materials, diameters and test curves, allowing bite detection to be matched to the setup, distance and conditions.
First check which tip diameter and fitting are suitable for your rod. Then choose a test curve that is sufficiently sensitive, but not too light for the feeder weight, current or casting distance. A suitable tip bends in a controlled manner and keeps the line under the desired tension.
