Monster Xtreme Distance Quivertips 3.5mm

The Preston Monster Xtreme Distance Quivertips are genuine replacement feeder tips for Monster Xtreme Distance feeder rods. They are intended to replace a damaged tip or as an additional tip that allows you to adapt bite indication to the current, wind and chosen feeder setup. The 3.5 mm fitting is designed for this rod series, so you can keep using the powerful distance rod without replacing the entire rod.

Designed for powerful distance feeder fishing

The Monster Xtreme Distance rods were developed for long casts with heavy feeders and fast-flowing water. A suitable quivertip forms the sensitive end of the rod: strong enough for the conditions, while still providing clear bite indication. Which tip strength do you need?

Choose a lighter tip when bite indication and subtle takes are the priority. In stronger current, side winds or with heavier feeders, a more powerful tip helps to set the rod up more steadily. The value in oz describes the strength of the tip and is not the same as the rod's maximum casting weight. The product selector shows which version is currently available.

Frequently asked questions

Do these quivertips fit the entire Monster Xtreme Distance range?

These genuine 3.5 mm feeder tips are offered by Preston for the Monster Xtreme Distance rod range. If in doubt, always check the series name and connection diameter of your current tip before ordering.

Can I cast a heavier feeder with a heavier tip?

The tip strength mainly determines how the tip behaves under tension, in current and when indicating bites. The maximum casting weight is determined by the feeder rod and must not be exceeded.

When is an additional feeder tip useful?

A spare tip prevents a damaged tip from ending your fishing day. With a different tip strength, you can also respond more quickly to changing wind, current or fishing distance.
