Essential Ingredients – Ingredients for Groundbait 💰

Sonubaits Essential Ingredients is a range of pure single ingredients that allows you to precisely adjust an existing groundbait mix or create your own groundbait. This lets you decide whether to add more aroma, flavour, colour, texture, nutritional value, activity or binding to your groundbait.

Each product in the range has its own function. Use one ingredient to enhance a specific characteristic or combine several components into a personal mix. Start with a modest amount, mix everything dry first and test how the groundbait binds and breaks down before feeding at full distance.

Key features

• Single ingredients from a clear source
• For adjusting existing groundbait or creating your own mix
• Provides control over aroma, colour, texture, activity and binding

Usage

Choose the ingredient based on the desired effect and mix it evenly through the dry groundbait mix. Then gradually add water and allow the groundbait to rest. Next, check the binding and performance in a bait tub or at the bank, so you can adjust the ratio before you start fishing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add Essential Ingredients to ready-made groundbait?
Yes. The range is specifically designed to give an existing mix more aroma, texture, activity or binding.

Can I make my own groundbait with these ingredients?
Yes. You can combine different single ingredients, but first test the ratios in a small trial mix to ensure the groundbait retains the desired performance.

When should I add a binding ingredient?
Use extra binding when the groundbait needs to be cast farther, stay in the feeder longer or reach the bottom in a controlled way. Add it gradually to prevent the mix from becoming too firm.
