Description
The Matrix Aquos Ultra X Spare Tips are carbon replacement tips for the Matrix Aquos Ultra X feeder rods. With their 2.8 mm fitting and length of approximately 63 cm, they match the progressive action for which this rod series was developed. Ideal as a spare tip or when you want to tailor bite detection to the conditions.
Choose a more sensitive tip for light feeders, calm water and cautious bites. In stronger current, wind or with a heavier load, a stiffer tip offers more control. Always check the fitting and exact rod series before purchase: the same diameter alone does not guarantee that a tip will fit properly.

Frequently asked questions
Does this feeder tip fit every Matrix rod with a 2.8 mm fitting?
No. This tip is designed for the Aquos Ultra X series. In addition to the diameter, always check the exact rod model.
Which tip should I choose for my fishing?
Use a more sensitive tip for light feeders and calm conditions. Choose a stiffer tip when wind, current or the feeder used puts the tip under too much tension.
Can a stiffer tip increase the maximum casting weight of my rod?
No. The maximum casting weight is determined by the rod blank. Always stay within the load specified for the rod.
