Blackthorne Pro C-Feeder Carbon S Tip Red – Feeder Tip 💰

The Cresta Carbon S Tip Red is a separate carbon feeder tip for rods that use Cresta's S size and a 2.2 mm connection. With a length of approximately 55 cm, six line guides and a highly visible red tip section, it is designed as a replacement for a damaged tip or as an addition to your existing set.

Sensitive bite detection with carbon

Carbon responds quickly to changes in line tension and registers bites immediately. This makes this tip well suited to light to medium feeder fishing where clear indication is important. Match the selected tip strength to feeder weight, casting distance, wind and current without exceeding the rod's maximum casting weight.

Check the connection before purchase

The official Cresta charts list these Carbon S tip codes with an outer diameter of 2.2 mm for, among others, the Blackthorne Pro-N Feeder Light and IDentity Pro Superior Feeder rods. Do not rely solely on the Blackthorne name: other Cresta series may use a different tip diameter or length. Therefore, also compare the connection and, if possible, the product code of your current tip. The product selector shows which tip strength is currently available.

Frequently asked questions

Will this tip fit every Cresta Blackthorne feeder rod?

No. Different tip sizes are used within the Blackthorne and other Cresta ranges. Always check whether your rod uses a Carbon S tip with a 2.2 mm connection.

What does the oz value on a feeder tip mean?

This value describes the strength of the tip and helps you choose for the conditions and bite detection. It is not the same as the maximum casting weight of the complete rod.

When should I choose a stiffer tip?

A stiffer tip can be useful in stronger current, crosswinds or with a heavier feeder. Do not choose a heavier tip than necessary, so cautious bites remain visible.
