G5 - 2kg 🎁 5+1

Van Den Eynde G5 2kg 5+1 package deal contains six 2 kg bags of G5 while you only pay for five. This gives you a generous stock of this versatile base groundbait for roach, bream, tench, crucian carp and carp in one go.

G5 has a fine to slightly coarse texture, is not highly binding and can be used on its own in still to slow-moving water. For deep or fast-flowing water, you can make the mix heavier with suitable clay or combine it with a heavier, more binding groundbait. Take sufficient time when wetting and work in several stages so that all ingredients absorb the water evenly.

Proven successful formula

• 2 kg G5
• 1 kg Super Crack Roach
• 500 g Big Roach Groundbait
• 100 g Fennel

First mix the dry ingredients thoroughly, then wet the composition in several stages. Allow the mix to rest between stages and check the texture again at the waterside.

Adjusting the mix to the water

For a pond or a slow-flowing canal, you can add Damp Clay, Black Damp Clay or Light Clay, depending on the bottom colour and desired action. On a deep, fast-flowing river or a powerful canal, River Clay and Heavy Clay are more suitable choices for making the groundbait heavier.

Frequently asked questions

How much groundbait does this package deal contain?
You receive six bags of 2 kg each, so 12 kg of G5 in total, for the price of five bags.

Can I use G5 on its own?
Yes. G5 can be used on its own in still to slow-moving water. In deep or fast-flowing water, making it heavier with clay or a more binding groundbait is recommended.

What is the best way to prepare G5?
Wet the groundbait in several stages and allow it to rest in between. In cold conditions, you can sieve the mix more finely and remove coarse particles if you want a subtler action.
