Van den Eynde G5 is a fine to slightly coarse all-round groundbait that can be used as a neutral base on a wide range of water types. The groundbait has little binding power on its own, making it suitable for use on still and slow-flowing waters. The composition targets species including roach, bream, tench, crucian carp and carp.

Thanks to its neutral base, G5 can be easily adapted to the season, depth and current. In cold water, you can sieve the mixed groundbait and remove the coarser particles for a finer, less filling baited area. On deeper or faster-flowing water, add clay or a more strongly binding groundbait to make the mix heavier and more stable.

Adapting to the water

For ponds and gently flowing canals, you can make G5 heavier with damp clay, black damp clay or light clay. For deep, fast-flowing canals and rivers, Terre de Rivière and Terre de Fond are more suitable choices.
