Frequently asked questions
What is the Aquos Ultra D 4.0m best suited for?
This rod performs best when fishing with a relatively heavy feeder at longer range or in flowing water. Its length and casting power help you place your rig accurately and retain sufficient line control during the fight.
Can the total weight of the feeder and groundbait exceed 130 grams?
The stated casting weight applies to the complete load you cast. Therefore, add together the weight of the feeder, groundbait and other rig components, and stay within the rod's limit.
Which replacement tips fit this rod?
Use feeder tips specifically made for the Aquos Ultra D with a 3.4 mm fitting diameter. The thinner Aquos Ultra X tips are not intended for this model.
