Sticky Mag 350g – Maggot Glue

Van den Eynde Sticky Mag is a maggot glue that binds loose maggots and casters into compact groundbait balls. This allows you to deliver live bait accurately to your feeding spot, even when casting further or fishing in deeper, flowing water. By adjusting the dosage, you can determine how firmly the ball holds together and how quickly it breaks down on the spot.

For even binding, the maggots must first be clean. If necessary, use the Van den Eynde Maggot Cleaner, then lightly moisten the bait and distribute the binder carefully.

How to use Sticky Mag

1. Remove dirt and excess sawdust from the maggots.
2. Lightly moisten the maggots and add approximately 250 ml of binder per litre of maggots.
3. Mix the binder evenly through the bait.
4. Leave the mixture to rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
5. Lightly moisten your hands and form compact groundbait balls.

Practical tip: use less binder when the groundbait ball needs to break down more quickly. Add slightly more when the ball needs to remain intact for longer during casting or in the current.
