Supercup 1kg

Van Den Eynde Supercup 1kg is a light, cloud-forming groundbait for fast fishing for roach, bream and silver bream. Developed in the 1980s with former Belgian champion Jean Coolens, this groundbait has proven particularly effective in shallow, still or slow-flowing water.

Supercup absorbs a lot of water and expands noticeably. Its active dispersion quickly attracts fish, even during difficult periods. You can use it in both summer and winter, on its own with maggots or casters, or combine it with clay and small bloodworms when you want to present the groundbait in a more controlled way.

Preparation and use

Moisten Supercup gradually in several stages and allow the groundbait to absorb the water between each stage. For use on its own, you can add maggots or casters; according to Van Den Eynde, do not add clay in this case. If you want to fish with small bloodworms, you can mix Supercup one-to-one with clay. As a detailed guideline, the manufacturer recommends 2 kg of Supercup, moistened in three stages, mixed with approximately 2 kg of damp clay and 800 g of small bloodworms.

Feed a large proportion shortly before the start, then introduce small portions when bites slow down. When quivertip fishing, the groundbait disperses quickly as soon as it enters the water; regularly feeding the same spot helps keep fish concentrated there.

Adjusting Supercup to the water

For a pond or lightly flowing canal, you can add Damp Clay, Black Damp Clay or Light Clay. For stronger currents, choose a heavier clay such as Terre de Rivière or Terre de Fond. Adjust the quantity according to the depth, current and desired release.
