DS Feeder 1kg – Feeder Groundbait

Van Den Eynde DS Feeder 1kg is an all-round feeder groundbait for a wide range of water types. The mix is designed to be presented effectively from a feeder and can be adjusted through moistening for still, gently flowing or faster-flowing water.

DS Feeder absorbs water gradually. Therefore, moisten the groundbait according to the three-step method: add water in several small portions, mix thoroughly each time and allow the mix time to absorb the moisture between stages. This creates an even consistency that remains in the feeder during casting and releases in a controlled manner over the feeding spot.

Preparation and water selection

For shallow or calm water, use a slightly drier, more active mix. For deeper or flowing water, the mix can be made more even and slightly wetter. Before fishing, check at the bank how quickly the groundbait releases from the feeder and adjust with small amounts of water if necessary.

• 2 kg DS Feeder
• 1 kg Record Silver
• 500 g Dynamic Feeder

For ponds or gently flowing canals, you can add Moist Clay, Moist Black Clay or Light Clay. For faster-flowing canals or rivers, Terre De Riviere and Terre De Fond are the heavier options.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I moisten DS Feeder in three steps?

The mix needs time to absorb the water evenly. Working in several stages prevents dry cores and gives you more control over the binding.

How do I adjust DS Feeder for flowing water?

Make the groundbait slightly wetter and add a suitable, heavier clay if necessary. Always test first whether the filled feeder can withstand the cast and only releases the groundbait at the chosen spot.

Can I use DS Feeder as a standalone groundbait?

Yes. It is an all-round feeder mix that can be used on its own. The products mentioned are additions when you want to specifically adjust the action, colour, nutritional value or weight.
