Description
The Preston Extremity Feeder Mono 300m is a hard-wearing nylon main line specially developed for accurate feeder fishing at longer distances.
The low diameter reduces resistance during casting, while the controlled stretch provides a good balance between casting efficiency and control during the fight. Thanks to its high abrasion resistance, this monofilament line is reliable for repeated casting and on swims where the line may rub against a hard bottom or obstacles.
The 300-metre spool provides enough line to fill a complete reel spool, with some left in reserve. For a distance-focused Preston setup, you can use this line on the Preston Extremity SD Feeder Reel 520.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Extremity Feeder Mono used for?
This nylon line is designed as a main line for feeder fishing, with an emphasis on situations where casting distance, control and durability are important.
Why is controlled stretch important in feeder fishing?
Limited, controlled stretch helps transfer power efficiently during the cast while still providing enough cushioning during the fight to absorb sudden runs from a fish.
When is an abrasion-resistant main line useful?
It is particularly important when you cast frequently or fish over a hard bottom and close to obstacles. Be sure to check the first few metres of line regularly for damage.
