Van den Eynde Black Damp Clay is ready-to-use black moist loam for weighting groundbait and keeping the feeding area dark. The black colour is less noticeable against a dark bottom, making it ideal for clear water, where a light-coloured bed of groundbait can make fish more cautious.

The loam is heavier than ordinary soil but lighter than compact clay. Mix it into already moistened groundbait to get the mix to the bottom faster and reduce the nutritional value per groundbait ball. You can also use the loam on its own and enrich it with a suitable additive if desired.
