Dumbbell Wafters 8x6mm - 30g

Van den Eynde Dumbbell Wafters 8x6mm - 30g

Van den Eynde Dumbbell Wafters are lightly buoyant hookbaits for method, pellet feeder and classic feeder fishing. With the weight of a suitable hook, they slowly sink to the bottom, creating an almost weightless presentation that a feeding fish can easily take.

The compact dumbbell shape differs from a round hookbait and sits neatly among pellets and groundbait. Attach the wafter to a hair, bait spike or suitable pellet band, and always test the complete rig at the bank: hook size and attachment determine how the wafter ultimately sinks or sits against the bottom.

Key features

• Lightly buoyant dumbbell wafters

Rigging and use

Thread the wafter onto a hair or bait spike, or secure it with a small pellet band. The Captura Baits Bait Bands are a practical option for this compact bait size. Before casting, check in shallow water that the combination sinks slowly and that the hook does not lift completely off the bottom.

Frequently asked questions

What is the advantage of a dumbbell shape?
The elongated shape provides a different presentation from a round boilie and is easy to attach to a hair, spike or band.

Does this wafter hover above the bottom?
Without a rig, it is lightly buoyant. With a suitable hook, it should sink slowly or present almost weightlessly against the bottom.

Why should I test the rig beforehand?
The exact buoyancy depends on the weight of the hook and the chosen attachment. A quick test immediately shows whether the presentation is correctly balanced.
