Expanda Magic Green 1kg – Green Groundbait

Van Den Eynde Expanda Magic Green is a pellet-based groundbait for larger bream and carp. The mix contains plenty of ground expanders and a smaller proportion of heavier pellets. This makes it bind slightly more strongly and delivers a higher protein content to the feeding spot.

The dry mix is naturally brown. Its distinctive green colour only appears after moistening and mixing. This creates a striking groundbait that can still be introduced in a controlled manner.

Key features

• Pellet-based mix with plenty of ground expanders
• Slightly stickier due to the addition of heavier pellets
• Designed for larger bream and carp
• Changes from brown to green after moistening
• Contents: 1 kg

Preparation

Use approximately 0.5 litres of water per kilogram of groundbait and prepare the mix in two stages. Moisten it first, mix thoroughly and leave the groundbait to rest for 15 minutes. Then gradually add the remaining water until the desired binding is achieved.

The mix is right when you can form it into a ball that breaks apart easily again after light pressure. Always adjust the amount of water carefully according to the fishing depth, current and chosen feeding method.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Expanda Magic Green only turn green after moistening?

The natural green colouring becomes visible as soon as the groundbait is mixed with water. The dry mix therefore remains brown, while its characteristic green colour develops during preparation.

Why does the groundbait need to rest for 15 minutes?

This gives the ground expanders and pellets time to absorb water. You can then adjust the final moisture level and binding more accurately.

Which fish species is this mix intended for?

Expanda Magic Green has been developed primarily for larger bream and carp.
