Supera X Distance Feeder Quiver Tips 3.5mm – Distance Feeder Tips

The Preston Supera X Distance Feeder Quiver Tips are original carbon replacement tips for the Preston Supera X Distance Feeder rods. The 3.5 mm fitting and action are matched to this distance series, ensuring the rod retains its casting and fish-playing characteristics. At approximately 72 cm long, they are suitable as spare tips and for adapting bite detection to different conditions.

For long-distance fishing, a tip must remain sensitive enough to show bites, while also staying stable under the pressure of wind, current and a heavier feeder. Therefore, choose based on the actual load at the water. Always check the rod model and fitting diameter before purchase; these tips are not intended as universal 3.5 mm tips for every Preston rod.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tip fit the standard Supera X Feeder rods?
Not automatically. This version is specifically intended for the Supera X Distance Feeder series. Always check the exact rod range and fitting.

Which tip is suitable in crosswinds or current?
Choose sufficient resistance to prevent the tip from being bent too far continuously. The best choice is the lightest tip that remains stable and clearly readable under the current load.

Does a different tip change the rod's maximum casting weight?
No. The maximum casting weight is determined by the rod blank. A stiffer tip provides different bite detection, but does not make a heavier load than the rod specification safe.
