Description
Sonubaits Super Crush is a versatile range of fishmeal Groundbaits based on finely ground pellets. The mix can be prepared compact enough for a feeder or groundbait ball, yet it breaks down in a controlled manner underwater and creates an attractive feeding area without quickly filling the fish up.
Colour, aroma, texture and target species vary depending on the formula selected. The current variant selector shows which blends are available. This allows you to match the Groundbait to Method Feeder, traditional feeder fishing, pole fishing, float fishing, shallow areas or the margins.
Key features
- Groundbait based on ground pellets and fishmeal
- For feeder, Method Feeder, pole fishing and float fishing
- Can be mixed from relatively dry and active to firmly binding
- Creates a fine bait cloud or a compact bed of Groundbait
- Suitable for commercial fisheries and natural waters
- Suitable for carp, F1s, bream, tench and roach, among others
Mixing instructions
Add water gradually, mix thoroughly and leave the Groundbait to rest for around 30 minutes so that the moisture can be fully absorbed. Then sieve it for an even texture. If you want an active cloud mix, add extra water gradually; for a feeder or groundbait ball, keep the mix more compact. Cover mixed Groundbait with a damp cloth in sun and wind, and re-moisten it if it dries out.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose the right Super Crush formula?
Look at the desired colour, aroma, texture and technique. The product selector shows the current options; choose a fine, active mix for creating a cloud or a more binding profile for feeder fishing and groundbait balls.
Why should the Groundbait rest after mixing?
The ground pellet particles need time to absorb water. After resting, you can better assess the final texture and adjust it as needed.
Can I use Super Crush for both feeder fishing and pole fishing?
Yes. Adjust the amount of water and the pressure used to form the Groundbait: looser for quick release, firmer for carrying in a feeder or groundbait ball.
