Slip Elastic 5m

Preston Slip Elastic 5m – reliable solid elastic for pole fishing

Preston Slip Elastic is a classic solid pole elastic with clear colour coding. The elastic is pre-treated with Preston Slip Lubricant, allowing it to move smoothly through the top kit while offering good resistance to wear. This makes it a reliable choice for anglers who want to match their top kit precisely to their intended fishing.

Each pack contains five metres of elastic. The range runs from fine to powerful versions, allowing you to choose the strength based on the fish species, fish size and waterside conditions. The colour coding also makes it easier to distinguish between rigged top kits.

Frequently asked questions

Is Preston Slip Elastic hollow or solid?

This is solid elastic. It offers direct, predictable performance and is available in strengths for a wide range of pole fishing applications.

Why is the elastic colour-coded?

The colour helps you identify different strengths and rigged top kits more quickly. This is especially useful when using several top kits during a fishing session.

Do I still need to lubricate this elastic?

The elastic is already pre-treated on delivery. Regular maintenance with a suitable elastic lubricant helps retain smooth performance, especially with intensive use.
