Natural N-20 Barbed

The Preston Natural N-20 Barbed is a barbed loose hook for pole and feeder anglers looking to catch plenty of fish. The wide gape and straight point provide effective bait presentation and hooking, while the relatively heavy wire offers sufficient strength when a larger fish suddenly takes the bait among roach, bream and skimmers.

The model is particularly suitable for natural hook baits such as maggots, sweetcorn and worms. The black nickel finish keeps the hook discreet and wear-resistant. Each pack contains 15 hooks. If you prefer ready-made rigs, Preston Natural N-20 15 cm hooklengths with the same hook are also available.

Frequently asked questions

Which fish species is the Natural N-20 suitable for?

The shape has been developed for species including roach, bream, skimmers and hybrids. Thanks to its heavier wire, the hook can also handle an unexpected larger fish.

What bait works well on this hook?

The wide gape works well with natural bait such as maggots, sweetcorn and worms.

Does the Preston Natural N-20 have a barb?

Yes. This is the barbed version, ensuring that soft or live bait stays securely on the hook.

What is the difference compared with the Natural N-20 Hooklengths?

This product contains loose hooks that you tie onto a hooklength yourself. The Natural N-20 Hooklengths are pre-tied to nylon and ready to use straight away.
