Description
Preston Micro 6mm Bayonets are short, ultra-fine bait bayonets for small boilies, wafters and Band’ums. Thanks to the light wire, compact hookbaits retain their natural balance, while the micro barb helps keep the bait securely in place during casting and underwater.
The bayonet is tied to the hair and then carefully pushed or screwed into the hookbait. The large eye makes attachment to different line diameters easier. With its short 6 mm length, this model is especially suitable when you want to create a subtle presentation with small bait.

Frequently asked questions
What hookbaits are these micro bayonets designed for?
They are designed for small boilies, wafters and Band’ums where a regular, longer bayonet could affect the bait’s balance too much.
How do I attach a Preston Micro Bayonet?
Tie the eye to the hair and carefully push or screw the sharp point into the hookbait. The micro barb helps prevent the bait from coming loose during casting.
Why is the wire so fine?
The light construction adds very little weight to small hookbaits, allowing you to maintain a subtle or critically balanced presentation.
