Description
Preston Magnitude Reel – feeder and float reel
The Preston Magnitude Reel is a robust fixed-spool reel for feeder and float fishing on commercials, rivers and natural waters. Its compact aluminium body combines powerful gearing with a generous spool capacity. The smaller model is ideal for waggler rods and short-range feeder rods; for greater versatility at short to medium feeder ranges, choose a larger size. Available sizes can be selected via the product options.
The worm gear system with super-slow oscillation distributes the line evenly across the spool. This helps ensure controlled casting with nylon or braided line. The CNC-machined aluminium spool features two line clips, allowing you to set two fishing distances. An aluminium spare spool is included for quickly switching between different lines.
The 5.0:1 gear ratio offers a combination of retrieval power and speed. The sturdy 3 mm aluminium bail arm, rotor brake and anti-reverse system, and soft handle knob make this reel suitable for intensive use on the bank.
