The Preston Magnitude Reel range of casting reels is designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern sport fishing. Made from exceptionally high-quality materials, they are equally at home on commercial waters, rivers, and natural waters. Ideal for fishing with nylon or braided lines using wagglers or feeder cages.
Because this range of casting reels features an extremely compact reel body, a powerful gear system combined with an extra-large spool. The super slow oscillation of the worm gear system allows, compared to the size of the reel body, very powerful retrieves; additionally, the line is perfectly and kink-free spooled.
The 5.0:1 gear ratio is the perfect compromise between power and high retrieve speed, making the casting reel ideal for quickly accumulating a high catch weight.
The Magnitude range also features a three-millimeter thick bail, making the casting reel extremely robust and durable, both during fishing and when stored.
Since the spools are made from CNC machined aluminum and come standard with a double line clip, fishing at different distances is much easier.
