Description
The Preston In-line Flat Method Feeders are classic inline Method feeders with a flat base. This keeps them stable on the bottom and makes them suitable for sloping swims, for example when fishing tight to the bank of an island.
The recess at the front accepts a size 10 swivel or Preston Ring Swivel. This creates sufficient resistance for a semi-fixed rig. With a suitable Quick Change Bead, the same feeder can also be set up fully free-running.

Making an even groundbait portion
Use the Preston Quick Release Method Mould that fits your feeder. Place the hookbait in the mould, fill it with dampened pellets or groundbait and press the feeder firmly into it. The release mechanism then easily releases the compact groundbait portion.

Can I use this Method feeder free-running?
Yes. With a suitable Quick Change Bead, the feeder can run freely along the line. If you place a size 10 swivel or Ring Swivel in the recess at the front, it creates a semi-fixed rig.
Why is the flat base useful?
The flat base helps the feeder land with the groundbait side facing upwards and remain stable on the bottom. This is particularly valuable on slopes or when fishing close to an island.
