Preston Innovations is proud to introduce the latest generation of pole fishing rods, specifically designed for carp fishing in Europe. The Preston Euro Carp STR range is based on the mandrel of our Euro Carp range, ensuring compatibility for existing owners from butt section to top kit, while benefiting from the latest carbon technology, resulting in poles that are a pleasure to handle. The range consists of 5 pole fishing rods, all sharing the same mandrel, so the sections are fully interchangeable. We are also introducing a brand-new generation of top kits.

The design goals for this range were comfort, power, balance, compatibility and precision—all of which have been achieved, resulting in our best European pole fishing range ever! We have developed brand-new top kits for the Euro Carp STR poles, with simplicity as the key focus. With this in mind, the top kits across all poles in the range are identical, so whether you buy the 8.5m Edge or the top-of-the-range Preston Euro Carp STR 1300, you know the top kits are identical, high quality and fully interchangeable. The range also includes two power kits (290cm), available in black or grey. A three-piece (440cm) version is also available in black for deeper water, as well as a one-piece (185cm) short kit that can be extended to the full 290cm with the short kit extender. Every top kit features depth markings at 1cm intervals, crucial for setting depth, shotting patterns and the distance between float and connector.

The STR is the most advanced continental carp match pole ever designed by Preston Innovations. It meets all the demands of anglers across mainland Europe with its excellent stiffness, perfect balance and outstanding power. This pole can easily be used in poor weather conditions and performs perfectly at full length, even with a CAD pot filled with bait. The pole pack includes 3 top 3 kits of 4.40m and a 4.40m cupping kit, allowing you to fish gravel pits, rivers or deep carpodromes throughout Europe.
