Dura Pellet Waggler 10mm Slim

The Preston Dura Pellet Waggler 10mm Slim is a sensitive pre-loaded pellet waggler for days when a thicker, more buoyant float can lead to missed bites. The slim body offers less resistance when a fish takes the hookbait, while the integrated casting weight ensures accurate and easy setup.

The waggler comes with three interchangeable antennae, allowing you to adjust visibility to the light and background. Two interchangeable splash discs help prevent the float from diving deep underwater after casting, enabling the setup to fish effectively more quickly. The discs can also be removed completely if a quieter landing or a different presentation is more suitable. With a suitable Preston Waggler Adaptor, you can attach and change the float without using split shot around the base.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the 10mm Slim instead of a thicker pellet waggler?

Choose the slim model when fish are feeding cautiously and the extra buoyancy of a thicker float leads to missed bites. The narrower body offers less resistance when the antenna is pulled under.

What do the splash discs on this waggler do?

The discs increase the surface area that hits the water when casting. This means the float dives less deeply and your hookbait can remain in the effective fishing zone more quickly.

Can I use the Dura Pellet Waggler without a splash disc?

Yes. Both discs are interchangeable and fully removable. This allows you to adjust the landing and presentation to the distance, fish behaviour and conditions.
