Description
The Matrix Soft Steel Ultra Power Monofilament is a supple yet exceptionally strong nylon line for match anglers who want to combine reliable knot strength with natural bait presentation. The line has been developed for carp fishing on commercials and can be used for pole rigs and hooklengths for both pole fishing and feeder fishing.
Its high knot strength allows you to apply pressure with confidence, while the supple material lets the hook bait move freely. The precise, consistent diameter makes it easier to create repeatable rigs and match line strength accurately to your fishing. Each spool contains 100 metres.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Soft Steel Ultra Power as hooklength material?
Yes. The combination of knot strength, suppleness and a reliable diameter makes this line suitable for hooklengths for both pole fishing and feeder fishing.
Why is a supple nylon line important for bait presentation?
A supple line allows the hook bait to move more naturally and prevents a short hooklength from reacting unnecessarily stiffly. This is especially useful when fish are feeding cautiously.
How do I choose the right line diameter?
Match the diameter to the expected fish size, obstacle risk, hook used and strength of the complete rig. When in doubt, choose sufficient reserve without making the presentation unnecessarily coarse.
