Power Micron 100m – Nylon Fishing Line

Matrix Power Micron 100 m Nylon

Matrix Power Micron is a transparent, precisely calibrated nylon fishing line for making hooklengths and complete pole rigs. Its combination of high breaking strain, suppleness and strong knot strength makes this line suitable for both subtle bait presentations and fishing for larger commercial fish.

Its low visibility helps present the rig naturally, while the reliable diameter makes it easier to carefully match line and hook. Power Micron is also used for ready-made Matrix hooklengths, including the Matrix MXC-3 Bait Band Rigs 15 cm.

Frequently asked questions

What can I use Matrix Power Micron for?
The line is intended for hooklengths and pole rigs. It can also be used for certain feeder setups when the diameter and breaking strain are matched to the fish you expect to catch.

How do I choose the right line diameter?
Choose a finer diameter for a subtle presentation and wary fish. Use a thicker line when you expect larger fish, heavier bait or snaggy conditions.

Is Power Micron suitable for tying my own hooklengths?
Yes. The supple line and good knot strength make it suitable for hand-tied hooklengths with both eyed and spade-end hooks.

How should I store nylon fishing line?
Store the spool in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Always check the first few metres for damage or ageing before use.
