Description
The Matrix Finesse Slim Wire Pole Float is a sensitive pole float for winter fishing for F1s and silverfish. The slim body and fine hollow antenna make cautious bites easy to detect, while the stainless-steel stem provides sufficient stability to present the bait calmly.
The body is made from durable Rohacell foam. Combined with the thin steel stem, compact attachment eye and hollow antenna, this creates a refined yet reliable float for cold water and times when fish are feeding cautiously. It is well suited to expander pellets, maggots, casters and worms.
Fit the float with suitable float silicone. This keeps it securely positioned on the main line and allows you to adjust the fishing depth accurately.

Frequently asked questions
Why is a wire stem useful for winter fishing?
The steel stem helps keep the rig stable in light tow, wind or movement in the water. This keeps small bait steadier in the chosen spot.
When should I choose this model instead of a carbon stem?
Choose the Wire version when stability and a calm presentation are more important. A carbon stem is more suitable when fishing faster or when you want the bait to fall naturally through the water layers.
Which bait suits the Finesse Slim Wire?
The sensitive hollow antenna is designed for smaller hook baits such as expander pellets, maggots and casters, but can also clearly register a delicate worm presentation.
