The Matrix EVA Air-Flow Tubs are lightweight, ventilated bait tubs for storing maggots, worms and other live bait. The fine mesh in the lid allows air to circulate continuously, helping to keep your bait in good condition for longer during transport and on the bank.

The lid closes all the way around with a zip. This keeps live bait safely in the tub, while the mesh top provides sufficient ventilation. The moulded EVA base and tapered walls allow the tubs to nest compactly inside each other when empty.

Large rounded corners prevent bait from collecting in sharp edges and make both removal and cleaning easier. The 1 mm EVA construction is lightweight, flexible and water-resistant, making these tubs practical for regular match and recreational use.

Is the mesh fine enough for maggots and pinkies?

The lid uses fine mesh designed to keep live bait inside while allowing air to pass through. Always close the zip fully before transporting the tub.

Can I keep worms directly in the EVA tub?

Yes. Add your usual moist bedding material and keep the tub cool and out of direct sunlight. The mesh lid provides the necessary ventilation.

Are these tubs suitable for wet groundbait?

The EVA base can also hold bait or groundbait, but the ventilated mesh lid does not seal against drying out or moisture spillage. A bait tub with a closed lid is more practical for pre-prepared wet groundbait.
