Bait Boxes Perforated Lid

The Matrix Bait Boxes with perforated lid are designed to keep maggots, pinkies and other live bait well ventilated while fishing. The combination of a sturdy box and a breathable lid helps keep your bait in good condition for longer.

The snug-fitting lid has a rubber sealing edge and closes securely around the box. The fine perforations provide air circulation, while the translucent material lets you check the contents quickly without having to open the box every time.

The impact-resistant, wear-resistant plastic is suitable for intensive use on the side tray and during transport. The distinctive grey and lime green Matrix finish also makes the bait boxes easy to find among your other tackle.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a perforated lid important for live bait?

Live bait needs air circulation. The fine openings let fresh air in without you having to constantly open the lid, keeping maggots and pinkies usable for longer.

Can live bait escape through the openings?

The perforations are small and intended for ventilation. Make sure the lid sits fully and evenly on the rubber edge before moving the box.

How should I store the bait box in warm weather?

Keep it out of direct sunlight, preferably in a cool bait bag or under a cover. Ventilation helps, but does not prevent live bait from warming up when the box is left in the sun for a long time.
