Vanilla 250g – Vanilla Powder Additive

Van den Eynde Vanilla 250g

Van den Eynde Vanilla is a rich powdered additive with a strong, pleasantly sweet vanilla aroma. Mix it into groundbait to enhance both aroma and flavour, making your swim extra attractive to silverfish. The additive is highly versatile, with a clear focus on bream, carp and large roach.

You can mix the powder into the dry mix from the start and then dampen it. For a more active effect, you can also keep a small portion separate and work it dry into the groundbait just before feeding. This releases fine aroma particles from the groundbait ball more quickly.

Dosage and use

Van den Eynde recommends 250 g of Vanilla for approximately 4 kg of dry groundbait. For different quantities, always start with a proportionally lower amount and adjust the dosage according to water temperature, fishing pressure and the composition of your groundbait. For a simple bream approach, you can also combine the additive with Van den Eynde Vochtige Leem.

Also for hookbait

Sprinkle a small amount over maggots, casters or pellets and mix gently. This gives the hookbait the same sweet aroma as the swim. Dose sparingly: a thin, even coating is generally easier to control than adding a large amount of powder at once.

Frequently asked questions

How much Vanilla should I use per kilogram of groundbait?
The official guideline of 250 g for 4 kg equals approximately 62.5 g per kilogram of dry groundbait. For smaller quantities, preferably weigh it accurately.

When should I add the powder?
For even distribution, mix it into the dry groundbait before dampening. If you want extra action just before feeding, keep a small portion separate to add dry later.

Can I use this powder directly on hookbait?
Yes. It is suitable for maggots, casters and pellets, among other baits. Use only a small amount and ensure the bait retains its natural action.
