Match Margin Mix 1kg – Groundbait for Margin Fishing

Mainline Match Margin Mix 1kg

Mainline Match Margin Mix is a coarse, heavy groundbait mix for targeted fishing in the margins. The combination of food particles, rich fishmeal and ground pellets helps attract larger fish to the spot and keep them feeding on the bottom for longer.

Its greater weight keeps the mix concentrated where you feed it, rather than dispersing quickly through the water column. This makes Margin Mix particularly suitable for short, accurate feeds along margins, slopes, reed beds and other areas where carp and large silverfish feed close beneath the rod tip.

Key features

• Contains visible food particles
• Developed to concentrate fish on the bottom

Preparation and use

Moisten the mix in several small stages and allow the groundbait to rest between each addition. For cupping or hand feeding, the mix can be firm enough to reach the spot compactly, but it should break down again on the bottom. Start with a limited amount and only feed more when bites and fish activity indicate that it is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Margin Mix heavier than a regular groundbait mix?
The additional weight helps take the groundbait quickly to the bottom and keep it close to the chosen margin spot.

Where is the best place to feed this mix?
Use it along your own bank, against the far bank, on a slope or beside vegetation where larger fish like to feed close to structures.

How can I avoid overfeeding in the margins?
Start with small, accurately placed portions and monitor the fish's response. The mix contains plenty of food particles, making controlled top-ups important.

Do I need to sieve Margin Mix?
Not necessarily. Its coarse structure is an integral part of the product. Only sieve it if you deliberately want a more even or finer presentation.
