Xpert Power River Hair Rigs - Barbed – 1 m Ready-Tied Hooklengths Barbed

The Korum Xpert Power River Hair Rigs Barbed are one-metre-long, ready-to-use hair rigs for modern feeder setups on flowing water. The extra length gives you room to present the hook bait further away from the feeder and adapt the setup to the current, baiting behaviour and wariness of the fish.

Korum combines a barbed Xpert Power hook with strong Smokeshield Mono. The rigs are carefully tied and stored on a water-resistant spool with a larger diameter. This keeps the hooklengths protected during transport and allows them to come off the spool smoother and straighter. Each pack contains six ready-to-use hair rigs.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this hooklength one metre long?

In flowing water, a longer hooklength can allow the bait to move more naturally and be presented further away from the feeder. The optimum length depends on the current and how the fish are feeding that day.

What type of fishing is this rig designed for?

This version is specifically developed for powerful river feeder fishing, where the setup needs to withstand the current and strong fish.

How can I prevent the long hooklength from tangling?

Maintain light contact during the cast just before the feeder hits the water. The hooklength will then straighten behind the feeder and land in a more controlled way. After use, store the rigs flat again on the supplied spool.

Can I use a barbed hook on every water?

No. Some fisheries only allow barbless hooks. Always check the local rules before using these rigs.
