The Korum Quickstop Needle is specially designed for mounting hookbait on a hair rig with a Korum Quickstop. The point is inserted directly into the Quickstop. You then push the needle and stop through the bait, withdraw the needle, and the Quickstop locks the bait onto the hair rig.

This system reduces the time needed to attach or change bait. It is particularly practical for smaller hookbaits such as sweetcorn, luncheon meat and mini boilies, where a classic loose bait stop is less efficient.

How to use the Quickstop Needle

1. Insert the point of the needle into the opening of the Quickstop.
2. Push the needle with the Quickstop completely through the hookbait.
3. Carefully withdraw the needle so that the Quickstop remains positioned crossways behind the bait.

What bait is a Quickstop useful for?

A Quickstop works well with sweetcorn, cubes of luncheon meat and small boilies, among other baits. Always choose bait that is firm enough to withstand piercing and casting.

Does the Quickstop need to be replaced after every cast?

No. As long as the Quickstop and the hair rig are undamaged, the system can be rebaited. However, check after a take or cast that everything is still securely attached.
