Guru X-Safe Tail Rubbers

Guru X-Safe Tail Rubbers are moulded replacement tail rubbers for the Guru X-Safe Elastic system. They slide over the quick-change clip protruding from the elastic stem, providing a smooth, streamlined transition between line, stem and feeder. This keeps the connection neatly finished and reduces the chance of the main line wrapping around the clip or stem during casting.

A tail rubber is a small component, but it is important for the correct functioning of the rig. Replace a rubber as soon as it is torn, stretched or hardened, or when it no longer stays securely over the clip. This pack contains ten replacement tail rubbers, allowing you to maintain several rigs and always have replacements at hand.

Compatibility

This version is designed for X-Safe stems and is not the same as the tail rubber for a standard inline stem. Combine it with a suitable elastic stem, such as the Guru X-Safe Speed Stems Spare Elastics. Before use, check that the rubber slides fully over the clip and fits securely.

When should I replace a tail rubber?
Replace it as soon as you notice cracks, deformation or hardening, or when the rubber no longer stays reliably in place.

No. This product consists solely of replacement tail rubbers; X-Safe stems are available separately.
