The Guru Aventus Top Kits are complete top sets for pole fishing, designed to match your elastic and rig to the water and your fishing style. The lightweight Z700 Match kits are designed for finer silverfish fishing, the Carp Power kit accommodates heavier elastic, and the short F1 kits are aimed at commercial fishing. Choose your preferred version and buy it individually or as a 3-pack with three identical top sets.

Which top kit suits your fishing?

Z700 Match: the 3.5 mm tip opening and the internal PTFE bush with a 1.95 mm opening are designed for fine elastic. Guru states a maximum elastic rating of Solid 8 or Hollow 4–6. The two-piece base is 2.4 m long and weighs 40 g. For deeper water, the 3.9 m top 3 consists of this base plus a 1.5 m third section; it weighs 87 g. The 5.5 m top 4 adds a 1.6 m fourth section and weighs 187 g. The additional bottom section does not alter the fine tip opening.

Carp Power: this 2.4 m, 42 g two-piece top kit is designed for larger fish and heavier elastics, including margin fishing. The 5.8 mm tip opening has a 3.75 mm internal PTFE bush. The stated maximum elastic rating is size 20.

F1 and F1 Sky: the short two-piece 1.8 m design provides a compact top set for F1 and commercial fishing. Both have a 4.7 mm tip opening, a 2.75 mm internal PTFE bush and a maximum elastic rating of size 16. The black F1 version weighs 30 g. The grey F1 Sky weighs 31 g and was developed for shallow fishing, for example along a bank or against an island.

Finish and elastic fitting

• The internal PTFE top bush is already fitted. The stated tip opening is not the same as the smaller internal diameter of this bush.
• The second section has a carbon-reinforced mounting area, approximately 30 cm above the bottom, where a suitable side puller can be fitted.
• A traditional bung fitted through the bottom of the second section is also possible.
• The stated weights are the weights of the top sets, excluding shipping packaging.

Compatible poles and replacement sections

Guru confirms that the Aventus top kits fit the Aventus Zero 700 and Zero 900 poles, including the 13 m Aventus Zero 700. This refers to the complete top set; a full pole is not included.

For the Carp Power 5.8 mm, F1 and F1 Sky, you can find separate first and second sections in the Aventus Top Kits Sections. Select exactly the same version there: the black F1 and grey F1 Sky each have their own sections. The listed Match Power 4.7 mm sections are not a confirmed replacement for a Z700 Match 3.5 mm kit.
