Guru A-Class Reels

The Guru A-Class Reels are affordable, reliable reels for silverfish, match and feeder anglers looking for a practical all-rounder. The lightweight body and rotor keep the setup pleasantly balanced, while the aluminium spool and handle provide extra strength for regular use on commercial fisheries and natural waters.

A smooth multi-disc drag helps build pressure in a controlled way during the fight. The infinite anti-reverse prevents unwanted play, while the soft T-shaped handle knob provides a comfortable, secure grip. The robust bail arm is designed for durable use during frequent casting.

Which A-Class Reel should you choose?

Choose a more compact model when balance and versatility are your priorities for general float and feeder fishing. For heavier feeders, faster retrieve rates and longer casts, a larger model is usually the better choice. Check the current sizes in the product selector and match the reel to the length and casting weight of your rod.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Guru A-Class suitable as a first feeder reel?

Yes. The simple operation, smooth drag and solid construction make this range accessible for beginner anglers, while also being practical enough for club matches and regular sessions.

Can I use the same reel for feeder and float fishing?

An all-round size can combine both techniques well. Pay particular attention to the balance with your rod, the required line capacity and the distance at which you usually fish.

Why is an aluminium spool an advantage?

Aluminium is dimensionally stable and wear-resistant, so the spool remains reliable even with frequent use. Combined with the lightweight body, this offers a good balance of durability, comfort and price.
