Pro Commercial XS Commercial Spade End Barbless

The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial XS Commercial Spade End Barbless is a powerful barbless spade-end hook designed for targeting larger fish. This model really comes into its own when fishing the margins or close to an island, where you need sufficient reserve power to keep a strong carp under control.

The hook is based on the well-known Gamakatsu 3360 and features a round bend with a relatively long, slightly curved point. Its A1 Hard Wire construction combines strength with wear resistance. Thanks to the sharp point and PTFE coating, the hook penetrates smoothly and stays sharp for a long time.

Choose this model when targeting larger, powerful fish, especially in the margins or near an island where you need to quickly steer fish away from obstacles.

What bait works well on this hook?

The generous bend provides room for larger or bulkier baits, such as a bunch of dead maggots, several worms or sweetcorn kernels.

Can I use this hook for both pole fishing and feeder fishing?

Yes. The XS Commercial Spade End is suitable for both techniques. Match the line diameter and the rest of your rig to the expected fish size and conditions.
