Frequently asked questions

Can I use this hook with both a feeder and a pole?

Yes. The Power Carp Ring Eye Barbless is suitable for bottom fishing with a feeder and float fishing with a pole. Match the hook size and hooklength material to the bait and the fish you expect to catch.

What is the advantage of the eye?

The eye allows various strong knots and rig setups. This is practical when making your own hooklengths or putting together a specific bait presentation.

What hookbait is suitable for this model?

The hook is designed for natural bait and can be used with maize, pellets and other larger carp baits. Always leave enough of the hook point exposed.

When should I choose a barbless hook?

A barbless model is required on waters where this is stated in the rules and makes unhooking easier. Always maintain sufficient tension on the line during the fight.
