Description
Fun Fishing Connectors – secure connection between elastic and rig
Fun Fishing Connectors connect pole elastic compactly and reliably to the main line of your rig. The connector consists of two materials: a rigid, highly durable front section for attaching the line and a semi-flexible rear section that completely covers the elastic knot.
This softer rear section also cushions the recoil when the elastic returns against the top bush after stretching. Fun Fishing uses a recognisable colour coding for connectors, elastics and top bushes, making it easier to combine components with matching diameters when assembling a top kit. Each pack contains two connectors.
Key features
- Two-piece construction with a rigid front section and semi-flexible rear section
- Strong attachment point for the main line
- Covered elastic knot for a neat setup
- Soft rear section helps cushion recoil against the top bush
- Colour coding supports the selection of matching components
- Suitable for a compact pole elastic setup
- Two pieces per pack
Match the components by diameter
Use the connector together with elastic and a top bush that match in diameter. Within the same system, you can combine it with Fun Fishing Hollow Elastic and Fun Fishing External Bushes. Choose based on the actual elastic diameter, not colour alone.
Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of the semi-flexible rear section?
It covers the elastic knot and absorbs part of the recoil when the connector comes into contact with the top bush. This provides a neater and softer transition.
How do I choose the right connector?
Match the connector to the diameter of the elastic used. The colour coding helps with identification, but always check the stated size of the selected version.
Can I use this connector with any pole elastic?
The connector can be used as long as the selected size fits correctly over the elastic knot and connects properly to the top bush. A connector that is too small or too large can make the setup less reliable.
