Drennan Visi Wag 5 Float. Peacock Quill is quickly being replaced by modern, hi-tech alternatives like those used for the Visi Wags. The unique feature of the Visi-Wag range is that all the different sizes of floats in a particular set carry exactly the same amount of shot along the line. In the case of these new Visi-Wag 5s, they all carry eight extra No 8 shots, whether loaded with 1g or 4g.

So, for example, if you switch from a 2g to a longer, heavier 3g model because the wind has picked up and you want to cast a bit further, you only need to place a new float in the rig. The eighth shot pattern of number 8 along the line remains the same.

Because the aerodynamic bomb weights are interchangeable, the exact amount of shot fished along the line can also be changed. So changing a 3-gram weight to a 2.5-gram weight increases the amount of required shot.
