Description
The Drennan Supplex 100 m is an exceptionally supple, transparent nylon fishing line for float and feeder fishing. You can use it as a main line on a reel, for pole fishing rigs and for tying hooklengths. The combination of suppleness and strength makes the line versatile without feeling stiff.
Supplex is durable and abrasion-resistant, and is also less prone to damage, including damage caused by split shot. Its smooth, supple structure helps present the line naturally and supports smooth casting when used as a reel line. Each spool contains 100 metres.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Drennan Supplex as a main line?
Yes. Supplex is suitable as a main line for both float and feeder fishing. Its supple nature allows the line to come easily off the reel spool and makes it pleasant to handle.
Is Supplex also suitable for hooklengths?
Yes. Drennan specifically states that Supplex is suitable for hooklengths and pole fishing rigs. Choose a diameter and breaking strain that match the hook, target species and conditions.
Why is resistance to split shot damage useful?
With float rigs, split shot are clamped directly onto the line. A line that is less likely to be damaged by this pressure remains more reliable at the points where the shotting has been applied.
