Description
Drennan Shorty Pellet Waggler
The Drennan Shorty Pellet Waggler is designed for shallow carp fishing at short to medium range. Its compact, transparent body is unobtrusive in the water and exceptionally buoyant and strong, allowing the float to withstand intensive use on commercial fisheries.
The streamlined loading at the base helps the float cast straight and accurately. With the removable adjustment discs, you can fine-tune the loading, while the supplied dive discs reduce deep diving on impact. This is especially useful when fish are feeding just below the surface. The winged, highly visible antenna stabilises the float during the cast.
Attach the float quickly with a hinged connection using the Drennan Swivel Float Attachments. This allows you to change wagglers easily without retying the main line.

Frequently asked questions
When should I use the supplied dive discs?
Use them when fishing very shallow and you want to prevent the float from diving too far underwater on impact. This keeps the rig closer to the feeding fish.
What are the removable adjustment discs for?
By removing or replacing a disc, you can fine-tune the float's loading to suit your rig and the desired presentation.
Why does this pellet waggler have a transparent body?
A clear body is less noticeable underwater than a painted float. This can help when carp are feeding cautiously just below the surface.
