The Drennan Buoyant Maggot & Caster is soft, durable and lifelike floating imitation bait. Its buoyancy allows you to offset the weight of the hook and create a more natural bait presentation. This is particularly useful when targeting carp, tench and bream.
Use the artificial bait on its own or combine it with a live maggot, a real caster or sweetcorn. By adjusting the number of imitation baits and their position on the hook or hair, you can make the rig sink slowly, achieve critical balance or present it as a pop-up. Always check the balance first at the bank or in a container of water.
