Frequently asked questions
What type of fishing is the Acolyte Carp Circle suitable for?
This hook is intended for powerful carp fishing, for example with a feeder, method feeder or pellet waggler on commercial fisheries where Barbless hooks are used.
What is the advantage of the angled eye?
The angled eye supports neat alignment when using a knotless knot, among other rigs. This allows you to tie a compact and effective hair rig.
Why does this hook have an offset point?
The point, which is set slightly out of plane, increases the chance of the hook making good contact when taken. The circle shape then helps keep the hooked fish securely held.
