Hollow Elastic

Cresta Hollow Elastic is high-quality hollow pole elastic with generous, progressive stretch. The hollow core gives it more stretch than conventional solid elastic, allowing the runs of carp and powerful silverfish to be controlled effectively.

Progressive stretch for puller kits and top kits

The flexible outer coating is abrasion-resistant and highly visible. This allows you to follow the fish’s direction better during the fight and quickly identify the chosen elastic size. Added liquid silicone supports smooth performance and a long service life, even with intensive use in a puller kit.

The elastic is easy to tie to a connector or bung. For a neat connection to the rig, you can combine it with the Cresta Smooth Dacron Connectors. Choose the appropriate elastic version via the product selector based on your top kit, hooklength and expected fish size.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between hollow and solid pole elastic?

Hollow elastic generally stretches further and builds pressure more progressively. This provides extra cushioning during powerful runs, while a puller helps you regain control when landing the fish.

Is Cresta Hollow Elastic suitable for a puller kit?

Yes. Cresta developed this elastic specifically for smooth performance in standard top kits and puller kits. Do check that the selected diameter can move freely through the bush and pulla outlet.

How do I choose the right version?

Match your choice to the strength of your hooklength, the type of water and the fish species. Select the desired version on the product page and ensure that the connector, bush and pulla match the same elastic diameter.
