The Drennan AS2 Carp Pole Rig is a versatile, ready-made pole fishing rig for F1s and carp on commercial fisheries. Developed together with five-time world champion Alan Scotthorne, this pattern combines sufficient sensitivity for cautious bites with the strength needed to control powerful fish during the fight.

The 3-metre rig is hand-tied using 0.18 mm, 6 lb main line and fitted with a 0.16 mm, 5 lb hooklength. A size 14 barbless Wide Gape Pellet hook makes the rig suitable for maggots, casters, sweetcorn and soft pellets, among other baits. The 1.5 mm Hi-Viz antenna can be changed to adjust visibility to the light conditions and background.
