Description
The Matrix MXC-2 X-Strong Pole Rigs are strong, ready-made 10 cm hooklengths for pole fishing on commercial fisheries. The short length provides direct control over the hook bait and works well with a compact shotting pattern when targeting carp and other powerful fish close to the bottom.
Matrix uses an ultra-sharp, PTFE-coated barbless MXC-2 hook and Power Micron nylon. The rigs are precisely tied for larger baits such as pellets, sweetcorn, meat and paste, and are supplied in packs of eight.

Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of a 10 cm hooklength?
A short hooklength provides direct contact with the hook bait and is practical for compact pole rigs. It is especially useful when you want to present the bait close to the shotting pattern.
Does the bait need to be placed directly on the hook?
Yes. This model has no hair, bait band or bait spike. Pellets, sweetcorn, meat or paste are therefore placed directly on the hook.
How can I prevent kinks in the hooklength?
Store the rigs straight in a hooklength box suitable for short hooklengths. Check the nylon before use and replace a rig if you see damage or permanent kinks.
