Description
The Zebco Trophy Wire Feeder is a simple and robust metal feeder with wide mesh. The open wire structure allows groundbait and larger feed particles to be released quickly, making this feeder particularly suitable for still or slow-flowing water at short to medium range.
Wide mesh for rapid bait release
- Sturdy metal cage construction for regular use
- Wide mesh also releases coarser feed particles easily
- Suitable for groundbait, particles and mixed feed portions
- Easy and quick to fill by hand
- Camouflage colour for a discreet presentation on the bottom
Match to water depth and flow
Use a relatively dry mix when the bait needs to release quickly from the feeder. Make the groundbait slightly wetter and pack it more firmly when the feeder needs to sink deeper or when a light current could otherwise release the feed portion too early.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the mesh of this feeder so wide?
The wide openings allow groundbait and larger particles to escape smoothly from the feeder. This quickly creates an attractive feeding spot without coarser ingredients becoming stuck in the mesh.
What type of water is this wire feeder best suited for?
The open design performs best in still and slow-flowing water. There, the bait can release quickly while the feeder remains in the chosen spot.
Can I feed particles with it?
Yes. Mix larger particles with sufficiently binding groundbait so the contents stay in the feeder during the cast and release in a controlled way after landing.
