After Dark Allround – All-Round Rod 🎁

The Zebco After Dark Allround is a versatile carbon rod for float and bottom fishing in both still and flowing water. The rod is designed for anglers who want to cover different techniques with one reliable all-rounder, including when powerful or cautiously feeding fish require extra control.

The TEC Carbon blank has a semi-parabolic action: it bends progressively during the fight, while retaining sufficient power reserves in the lower section. This helps absorb unexpected runs without losing direct contact with the fish. The larger guides in the tip section allow a sliding stop knot to pass through more easily, making the rod practical for deeper float fishing with a sliding rig.

High-quality SiC guides reduce line friction, while the cork handle provides a comfortable, secure grip. Select the exact length and casting weight of the currently available model from the options on this page.

Frequently asked questions

What are the larger guides in the tip section for?

They give a properly tied sliding stop knot more room to pass through the guides during casting. This makes the rod suitable for sliding float rigs when fishing deeper than the fixed length of your hooklength.

What does a semi-parabolic action mean?

The blank bends progressively over a larger section under load. This absorbs fish runs more effectively, while the power reserves in the lower rod section continue to provide control.

Can I also use this rod with a bottom rig?

Yes. The After Dark Allround is designed for both float and bottom fishing. Always match the total weight of lead, feeder, groundbait and bait to the casting weight of the selected rod model.
