The Van Den Eynde Sticky Method Mix was a challenge in finding the right ratio, but we succeeded in bringing together the right pellets. We deliberately chose to mix different pellets because various anglers achieved positive results. So it seemed logical to us to mix them all together.
How do you prepare this Van Den Eynde Method Sticky Mix? Put the amount of pellets you need into a jar. Fill the jar with water up to the level of the pellets. It’s best to let the pellets soak in water for 4 minutes and then drain. Afterwards, you can still moisten them with liquid booster or water to achieve extra stickiness.
The advantage of adding some liquid booster after the 4-minute soak is that it works instantly and will create a stronger aroma cloud, attracting fish faster.
When fishing in deep ponds or on windy days, you can use this to get a more concentrated spot when cupping the pellets. You don’t need to drain them, as they have absorbed all the water.
An extra tip: the Van Den Eynde Method Sticky Mix absorbs water so well that it’s interesting to add a liquid booster to the water. The flavor will penetrate to the core of the pellets.
